The Barbuda Ocean Club at Palmetto Point
This exclusive residential enclave for the ultra-wealthy is now under construction. If finished, it will include 450 private residences and an 18-hole golf course — built on top of an internationally-protected wetland.

The Barbuda Ocean Club at Coco Point
This private resort is already open, and construction continues. Many plots of land to build private residences have already been sold — even though Barbuda Ocean Club’s rights to sell or develop the land remain highly contested.

International Airstrip
When Hurricane Irma decimated Barbuda, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda forcibly evacuated all residents from the island. While they were gone, land started being cleared for a new airstrip, designed to bring international flights in to new luxury resorts and exclusive residential communities. Construction started and continues without the necessary scientific studies or local approval. The unauthorized airstrip is co-funded by PLH (Barbuda) LLC, the owner of the Barbuda Ocean Club.

The Abercorn Residence at Cedar Tree Point
The Abercorn Trust has applied to build a 15,000 sq. ft. private mansion for a British businessman on the protected wetland of Codrington Lagoon National Park, dangerously close to the region’s largest frigate bird sanctuary. Earlier plans also included a 14,000 sq. ft. mansion here for PLH founder John Paul DeJoria.
